The exhibition was realized in collaboration with the – then – Rijksmuseum voor Volkenkunde in Leiden and showed the part of the Balinese art Bonnet collected which he brought back to the Netherlands (Leiden).
The exhibition showed in Museum Puri Lukisan, Ubud, Bali, July 14 – September 11, 2008 and in the Erasmushuis, the Cultural Centre of the Dutch Ambassy in Jakarta September 18 – October 18, 2008.
The catalogue was written by dr Helena Spanjaard, with a foreword by Pienke Kal and  was published by KIT Publishers.
